when I start gnugadu 2.2.8 it works for a while and after that i hangs without
any debug message. 

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.turn on gg2 2.2.8
2.you can talk with someone or you can just leave it alone.
3.after several minutes gg will crash with no reason

Actual Results:  
it hangs.

Expected Results:  
it should work :)

Gentoo Linux 2.6.12-r10
GNOME 2.10.2

My USE flags:
net-im/gnugadu-2.2.8  -arts +debug -esd -gnutls -jabber +oss +perl +spell -tlen
+xosd

Hmm, I was unable to reproduce this problem. I see you have the 'debug' flag
turned on. Does gg2 provide any useful information? Is there a specific event
that seems to be causing the crash? Have you tried merging it with 'nostrip' in
features and running gg2 under gdb?

gnugadu 2.2.8 is old, close?

Please reopen if the problem persists with gnugadu-2.3.0.
