Description Florian Zierer 2005-10-25 12:32:27 UTC
Since the last update thunderbird crashes everytime I want to look in my Spam
folder. It's an IMAP Folder. Perhaps there is a corrupt mail, but kmail has no
problems opening the folder.

On the console i get following:
$ thunderbird
No running windows found

(thunderbird-bin:11227): Gdk-WARNING **: gdk_property_get(): length value has
wrapped in calculation (did you pass G_MAXLONG?)
/usr/libexec/mozilla-launcher: line 116: 11227 Segmentation fault      "$mozbin"
"$@"
thunderbird-bin exited with non-zero status (139)

$

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.start thinderbird
2.go to my SPAM folder
3.

Actual Results:
a segmentation fault and thunderbird crashes

Expected Results:
show me my spam-mails

Comment 1 Jory A. Pratt 2005-10-25 13:14:13 UTC
Please try moving $HOME/.thunderbird out of the way (back it up) and create a
new profile and test please ... most likely a change in the xml parsing of the
config causing such a problem.
Comment 2 Florian Zierer 2005-10-26 15:35:43 UTC
(In reply to comment #1)
that worked. How can I find out which file is responsible for the error?
Comment 3 Jory A. Pratt 2005-10-26 15:52:23 UTC
it is in your .thunderbird you moved out of way go threw you should find a dir
called Junk.msf you can remove it that is only way I know you can verify it or
you can search around.
Comment 4 Florian Zierer 2005-10-26 16:48:04 UTC
(In reply to comment #3)
yes you were right. I just deleted it and after that thunderbird fetched all
headers and everything is working again.

Thanks
Comment 5 Jory A. Pratt 2005-11-14 14:54:48 UTC
As this is nothing more then a corrupted file closing.
