Hi, The "sasl" use flag for the exim only enables saslauthd support. What about AUTH_CYRUS_SASL support which enables "driver = cyrus_sasl" in exim.conf. This provides exim with additional authentication options. Which is a good thing. Can support for AUTH_CYRUS_SASL be added to the ebuild for exim please? The ebuils I've checked are: exim-4.43-r2.ebuild exim-4.50.ebuild exim-4.50-r1.ebuild exim-4.50-r2.ebuild exim-4.50-r999.ebuild exim-4.52.ebuild exim-4.54.ebuild Regards, Warren. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Hello, I am wondering about the status of this bug. Is it something that is being considered? It is something I would like to use. Regards, Warren.
Hello, anyone out there? I'm hoping for a response on this! A "yes we can fix this but it will take some time, or "no - we're not doing this" or possibly "sorry, we're having some issues with the maintenance of this package within Gentoo, perhaps you'd like to try one of the other MTA's that are known to work and are properly maintained...". Anything at all?? Warren.
whoops, sorry, manic week, i'll add support for this to the next release of exim (which i believe is 4.60 due some time this week.
Great news! Thanks, Warren.
should be enabled as of exim-4.60
Maybe simple typo. "sed -e ..." should be "sed -i ...".
This should be fixed in 4.60-r1.
