Message-Id: <1037811827.6877.0.camel@gravity> from phoenix <phoenix@gentoo.org> contains this in my KMail: Bass, vapier and I decided that an eclass for games was needed badly (check bug #9562 (http://bugs.gentoo.org/show bug.cgi?id=9562)). Notice missing underscore between show and bug. Message-Id: <1037373976.32414.9.camel@waterhouse.internal.lan> from Troy Dack had an attachment portageserver.py. When I opened it to kwrite it was completely devoid of underscores. When I went to his website and downloaded portageserver.py to konqueror then opened it in kwrite, all the underscores were there.
Looks like http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=51180, which is closed as working in recent cvs (although it has a patch that didn't get applied, but I think it's just a workarond not a fix, so the fix must be elsewhere in cvs). I believe/hope this is fixed now, and certainly can't reproduce it... If you want to, test the current kde cvs (3_1_BRANCH, because HEAD is already moving towards kde 3.2), or for the final release around monday-tuesday.
is this still an issue in kde-3.1_rc5?
so far so good. rc_5 is still very new but so far I'm getting underscores OK
rc3 is out of date and it works in rc5, so i will close this bug.
Reappeared in rc5. This is copied from the KMail Message Body pane: I just did an 'emerge sync' and now lsys-apps/lm sensors is missing.... Yes, and I see another user added a comment about it still not working in 3.1-final in http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=51180. Hmm. The patch referred to there did get applied to cvs and is in the 3.1 code, I verified that. Of course the kde developers say it's a gcc bug in the first place, so who knows...
Yes, I've currently got this problem. Someone: solve it! ;)
