Subprogress reporting is currently needed for:

* partitioning
* fetching tarballs (?)
* dynamic-stage3
* quickpkg for install_packages
* emerging >1 package at a time
* anything that takes more than a few seconds to complete

subprogress works for:
dynamic-stage3
tarballs
any installed package

left to do:
partitioning?
downloading of the tarball (tho you should see it in the output tab)
anything that takes mroe than a few seconds to complete?

HTTP and FTP fetches now have subprogress reporting. What else is there?

It looks like we've got more subprogress reporting than anyone could ever want.
