I have some old ogg files encodec with mandrake linux 9.2 and if i add all files in a dir to a audio proyect, k3b crashes , it happens only whith files encoded with libVorbis I 20020717 (1.0) 21,23c21,23 the other files runs fine Distribuidor: Xiph.Org libVorbis I 20040629 --- > Distribuidor: Xiph.Org libVorbis I 20020717 (1.0) 21,23c21,23
Can you post one or more of the files somewhere so we can more easily reproduce the issue?
(In reply to comment #1) > Can you post one or more of the files somewhere so we can more easily reproduce > the issue? the crash is very strange it only ocurs when i drop more than 7 files, the version of the encoder library dosen't import, it crash if all the files are droped, but droping files one by one, dosent make k3b crash. im really a bit confused, when the machine is slowed by other program like amule (90-95 % cpu load), the files are procesed into audio proyect more slow and k3b dosen't crash.
(In reply to comment #2) im very disapointed of using this bug board for my fault i forgiven the mime use variable so i emerged k3b and kde 3.4 without mime suppor i aded mime to use list and unmerge k3b and merge it, so problem is solver if i use 3.4 in 3.3 it said no mime tipes installed change status to solved it apears not to be a bug, so is a user fault
Welcome media-optical as new co-maintaining herd.
Miguel, you seem to have found the problem, but I do not follow your explanation. If I did not miss anything, there is no mime use flag affecting K3B or any of its dependencies. Would you mind to give me another chance to understand the issue?
Close dead old bug originally resolved "needinfo".

Would you mind to give me another chance to > understand the issue? > the only thing that can be succes is that the k3b compiled worst (try reeemerging the package) the issue ocurs but less frecuently (i think because the kde enviroment keeps working without some part compiled without mime support)
