glitz ebuild depends on virtual/opengl which is xorg-x11. It should be made to depend on modular X 
dependencies instead. I'm not sure yet exactly what should be the deps. Maybe someone else can check 
that better than me ?

The modular dep is media-libs/mesa or any of the binary video card drivers. This
dependancy again is correct.
