Description Stanislav Nikolov 2005-10-20 12:46:07 UTC
When I try to view/open a utf8 encoded Cyrillic file name/folder name, its
characters can't be read in the dialog. Moreover, when I try to double-click a
doc file with a Cyrillic character in its name in Konqueror/Desktop, OpenOffice
opens with an error, stating that the file does not exist. I'm using
openoffice-bin-2.0.0 and a bg_BG.utf8 locale. All file names appear ok in other
programs. The Ubuntu version ot OOo hadles the names also ok.

Reproducible: Always

I'm not an expert in this case, but it could be that the upstream package does
not support UTF8, so please try the source-based ebuild.

Anyway, not really anything we can do here, that's an upstream problem
