It's been at least thirty days since Opera 8.50 was placed on ~x86. During that time, it hasn't failed once or had a usage problem, AFAICT. Certainly it's worked perfectly for me. :) Can it be marked stable now? JoseJX mentioned that he'd mark it stable in this thread (http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-388631-highlight-opera+8+50.html). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Jack: you shouldn't attach herds in CCs in such requests. this kind of bug should be assigned to maintainer of package (or to herd the package belongs if it has no maintainer), who is the only person, who can request to stabilize it on certain archs. lanius: i've tested it on my system and i can mark is stable as soon as you request (i'm in x86), but please: add x86@g.o to CC once more if you want it in that bug, becouse i'm removing it for now

I didn't. Carlo did. But I will remember that in the future. I only created the bug and filed it under "Applications"; that was the only thing I selected/created. Does that automatically create CCs? Because I know for a fact that I didn't sign anyone's name up . . . and I found out who the maintainer was _after_ I posted the bug. Oops. Will remember to find that out before filing similar bugs again.
yeah, just go ahead
Stable on x86
