Pentium D 820 (dual-core) processor on ASUS P5WD2 Motherboard
gentoo-sources-2.6.13-r4 (but also happens on 2.6.12* and 2.6.13-r2)

Module loads fine, but crashes at startx at point of logging module load in X
log file.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. startx
2.
3.

Actual Results:  
System freezes, no ping.


kernel module downloaded from Nvidia web site works fine, so it must be in the
gentoo patches.

This should be fixed in 7676-r1.  Please repoen if that is not the case.
