Description Richard Gray 2005-10-18 19:07:36 UTC
configure script fails unable to find /usr/src/linux/arch/x86 directory. I fixed
this with a symbolic link to /usr/src/linux/arch/i386 [ugh!], and the configure
script later failed with "Unsupported kernel version". Best leave this to
someone that knows what they're doing. It doesn't seem to like the texinfo
documentation file either, but that's not a show-stopper.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
Amend package.keywords appropriately first, because this is a masked package.

bash# emerge ciped

Actual Results:
newton2 ~ # emerge cipe

I don't suppose it would take all that much effort to get this back in shape -
by someone that knows what they're doing. Under the 2.4 kernel this was a very
straightforward affair and built cleanly.
