Description Sune Kloppenborg Jeppesen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-10-18 13:05:24 UTC
The Sourcefire Vulnerability Research Team (VRT) has learned of a
vulnerability in Snort v2.4.0 and higher. Users are only vulnerable if the
Back Orifice preprocessor is enabled. Snort v2.4.3 has been released to
correct the issue.

just tested a new ebuild for 2.4.3 with all USE flags enabled and seems to be
fine,so have revbumped in cvs.
