pure-uploadscript is a feature of pure-ftpd that allows a script to process each file uploaded through pure-ftpd. The ebuild for version 1.0.20-r2 does not support it all. To do so requires a couple of changes to the pure-ftpd.conf.d file and the rcscript, to follow.
Created attachment 70891 [details] revised pure-ftpd.conf_d file pure-ftpd.conf_d contains a revised configuration to specify the name of the upload script.
Created attachment 70892 [details] revised pure-ftpd rcscript This is a revised copy of the rcscript for pure-ftpd. It now handles starting and stopping of the pure-uploadscript daemon.
A new version of pure-ftpd was just put into portage, http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=124933, and aparently it still does not support this built in feature of pure-ftpd.
mybe we should just have another developer for pure-ftpd ebuilds, which cares about all of pure-ftpds functionality? I hate fixin this myself after every upgrade.

Support for configuring an uploadscript was added with 1.0.21-r1, it seems to work very well, thanks to Maurice Volaski for the help! Best regards, CHTEKK.
