Why not use the gtk use flag instead? it serves the same purpose and is global already...

Mostly because our users tend to be of average attention and get very confused
when they emerge what they believe to be a.. erm.. gui IRC client and don't get
a working client at all ( No, the TextFE isn't really working, IMO)  with the
USE="-gtk" flag.


Won't fix this now
