Description Michael Sullivan 2005-10-16 08:20:23 UTC
I tried to install alsa. My card uses snd-hda-intel. I've run alsaconf and it
detected the card just fine and /etc/init.d/alsasound restarts fine, but when I
try to run alsamixer to unmute my card it always gives me this output:

camille ~ # alsamixer

alsamixer: function snd_mixer_load failed: Invalid argument

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Expected Results:
It should have opened alsamixer

In-kernel alsa or alsa-driver ?
