This happens on a brand new Gentoo 1.4_rc1 system. I ran emerge openoffice, and after a little while, it spit the following out at me. Here's the tail of the build log. ============= Building project udkapi ============= /var/tmp/portage/openoffice-1.0.1-r1/work/oo_1.0.1_src/udkapi/com/sun/star/lang idlc @/tmp/mkoCd2wV idlc: compile 'ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException.idl' ... What are your CFLAGS, have you tried dropping to -O2? are you using higher than -O3? seth
yeah i've had some problems with this. Especially when using the sun-jdk It hasn't happened to me with blackdown. I've got an issue open on the OOo site for this. seth
Sorry I haven't responded yet -- I haven't had my Gentoo box with me, and will not for another week. I will give -O2 a try. I believe I was using blackdown when trying to compile OOo. I will keep that in mind when I build it next week.
is this still an issue?
is this still a problem?
It doesn't seem to have this problem with -O2 and the -r3 ebuild. Sorry I took so long.
