When I browse with firefox the site http://forums.gentoo.org/ the german "umlaut
" ä (&umla IIRC) is not displayed correctly (messages in the upper right corner)
 as you can see here:

whereas in http://forums.gentoo.org/viewforum-f-28.html the "umlauts" are ok:

Under firefox my preferences are :
1. German/German [de-de]
2. German [de]
3. English/United States [en-us]
4. English [en]

and the char set is Western ISO-8859-15

Using konqueror the umlauts are displayed correctly at both sites.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

Must be local problem. I have almost the same configuration and everything is
fine. Just the first [de-de] entry is missing.
