Description Gerald Normandin (RETIRED) 2005-10-13 13:47:13 UTC
Seems as if this is a HAL issue. Essentially what happens is that hal is not
detecting my dvd burner as having dvd burning functionality.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.run lshal
2.look for dvd burner reference
3.notice no dvd burning support detected
4. also notice nautilus-cd-burner does not detect a burner

Actual Results:
no burning capability via nautilus-cd-burn

Expected Results:
allowed me to burn dvds by detected the drive

The relevant output of lshal is:

Please retry with the latest HAL available. 0.5.5.1-r3 as of this posting and reopen as necessary.
