Description Luca 2005-10-13 11:56:25 UTC
Guys i have upgrading 1.2.6 to 1.2.6-r4 but right now, qgis doesn't import
GRASS raster layer.I downgraded to 1.2.6 and now it works fine..

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start GRASS
2.Start Qgis from inside GRASS
3.Try to import a GRASS raster layer

Actual Results:
Got an error saying that the file is not supported

Expected Results:
Open the RASTER (as it does with 1.2.6)

Portage 2.0.51.22-r3 (default-linux/x86/2005.0, gcc-3.3.6, glibc-2.3.5-r2,

Could I know if you emerge qgis and grass again after updating the gdal library (to ensure you've
compiled with the new library) ?

Note that I've downgraded from gdal-1.3.0-r1 to 1.2.6-r4 and it seems to work for steps you've described
(tests was made with ratsers from official slovakia3d sample_data from grass web site : http://grass.itc.it/
download/data6.php) :(

Right now i don't see the GRASS flag in GDAL, so i can't use qgis to open
raster layer..For you is ok?

Not sure about the status of GGIS these days, but the latest Grass and gdal ebuilds now support manual rebuilding of gdal for libgrass support (Grass 6 only). This is about the best compromise I can think of, due to the circular dependency issues with making USE flags for both.
