Comment 1 Carsten Lohrke (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-10-12 13:27:12 UTC
You cannot have both sys-fs/cryptsetup and sys-fs/cryptsetup-luks installed. Use
`emerge -puDt world` to find out which ebuild depends on cryptsetup and causes
this hickup.
Comment 2 Blu3 2005-10-12 13:30:33 UTC
that's fine .. but neither are installed.
Comment 3 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-10-12 13:43:46 UTC
Find out what depends on cryptsetup and reopen then...
Comment 4 Blu3 2005-10-12 13:50:22 UTC

These are the packages that I would merge, in reverse order:

Calculating world dependencies ...done!
[blocks B ] sys-fs/cryptsetup (is blocking sys-fs/cryptsetup-luks-1.0.1)
[ebuild U ] gnome-base/libgnome-2.12.0.1 [2.10.1-r1]

Comment 5 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-10-12 14:13:10 UTC
Emerge sys-fs/cryptsetup-luks first and everything should be OK,
app-cdr/cdrtools depends on either of them but prefers sys-fs/cryptsetup.
