Description Ludvig Ericson 2005-10-12 10:28:27 UTC
The bitlbee package is old, since it does not apply a late patch supplied by the
bitlbee development team - the Google Talk patch. Attached ebuild does apply
this patch.

A patched version of bitlbee-0.92-2.ebuild

The file itself is a patched version of the old ebuild - I'm sorry, but I don't
have the skills to make a .patch file.

Same, with a changed header to match the file-version.
Comment 3 Jesús García Crespo (aka Sevein) 2005-10-22 03:37:05 UTC
I think it could be submitted into Portage because it works! Don't you think so?

Indeed, it does work as it should.

I'm just wondering why no-one applies it?
Comment 5 Jason Wever (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-10-22 07:51:08 UTC
Basically no one has applied it because the maintainer's job has been having him
work 70-80 hour weeks recently :)

I'll try to take a look at this today or tomorrow and commit it.
Comment 6 Ludvig Ericson 2005-10-22 07:59:12 UTC
Oh, I see - well take your time, don't feel stressed. :)
Comment 7 Jason Wever (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-10-30 20:04:11 UTC
In portage. Thanks for the ebuild! :)
