Description Lares Moreau 2005-10-12 09:23:09 UTC
Link error as follows..
goto http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/metastructure/projects.xml
click 'print' link in upper right hand corner.
Brings you to
http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/metastructure/index.xml?style=printable
not
http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/metastructure/projects.xml?style=printable
as it should.

Sorry, I posted it to infra-bugs originally on my own, Since it has been a long
standing post I thought I may have posted to the wrong herd.

Appologies for the bugSpam

Believe this is more of a docs-teams issue than infra. If not, cc us back on.
Comment 4 Łukasz Damentko (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-12-18 10:07:49 UTC
Docs team deals only with documents inside doc/ directory. Reassigning to metastructure lead.
Comment 5 Paul de Vrieze (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-12-18 11:01:59 UTC
I've just fixed it. I've changed the self link to the /proj/en/index.xml location. That way the printing works (the contents at both locations are equal).
Comment 6 Xavier Neys (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-12-19 02:26:34 UTC
I fixed it to use output 'link=""' which works equally well and avoids hardcoding any file or path name.

FYI, we had to code the filename in the xml because we had no way of passing it as a parameter with axkit (or at least no one knew how to do it). Once gorg is in use on all web nodes, we can replace the attribute and all its drawbacks with a parameter to the stylesheet as on gentoo.neysx.org

The fix has made it to the web servers. Guess what? It works :)
