I'm sorry. The patch is fine: I forgot the "[es]" prefix at the bug summary
since this is a patch for the spanish translation.

Jonh, I'm very sorry, and surprised: I still think the patch is well. :O

I have downloaded the latest spanish version at CVS
(es/handbook/hb-install-ppc-medium.xml, Revision 1.6:
http://breu.bulma.net/?l5534 ) and I have applied the patch. And it works fine
for me.

Then, John, can you give me some indications about your problem? I dont
understand what is happening.

patch <unified\ diff\ file\ for\ hb-install-ppc-medium.xml

Hunk #1 succeeded at 7 with fuzz 1.

All your other patches worked fine. Could it be that i'm trying to patch a more
recent file than the one you used to produce the diff?

I apologise John, but I think I'm trying to patch the right file. :-PPPP  
According the CVS, the last file has the revision 1.6:
