In order for the RSS Subscription plug-in (provided in Epiphany Extensions) to
work, Lifera 0.9.7b or greater must be running or an error is reported ("RSS
extension : unable to contact the feed reader") when attempting to subscribe to
a feed from within Epiphany.

Is it possible make Liferea 0.9.7b (or the right version) stable and add it to
the  epiphany-extensions dependencies?

I think is a solution.

Removing as a blocker since epiphany extensions isn't officially part of gnome.

Looks like epiphany-ext 1.8.1 fixes the incompatibility as it's working on my machine now with liferea 0.9.6.
