python-updater output needs a little cosmetic help

python-updater gives me the following 'needs-a-little-cosmetic-help' output ...

could you clarify which bit? is it the missing "*" on those empty lines?

ups sorry - i refer to the escaped '\=' after 'emerge -p ...'
