http://planet.gentoo.org - look on the left menu, for "Diego P" - a UTF-8 name is being interpreted as non-utf8. The planet config files are still in UTF-8 so this must be a problem on the webserver side. wget -S shows this header being sent from server to client: Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 However, the planet site does try and specify its own header, which apparently isn't being processed. <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"> This has only started happening recently, at a guess, for a week or so.
fixed this in planet's vhost config. This must have happened with the apache upgrade and re-config fiasco. Infra: note that this only affects planet.g.o and not any other site on warbler that may need utf-8 Cheers, -C
