whiel trying to emerge hd2u-1.0.0  I ran into the following problem

the package emerges, but doesn't install any executables.
Is this related to #108589?

this is a little weird:

make: `install' is up to date.

there is no file named "install" ... so it shouldnt think that it's up-to-date, and thus should always run the install target ...

adding ".PHONY: install" to the Makefile.in should fix the problem, but i'd still wonder why your `make` is being stupid ...
