wx-xmingw will work, but must follow a set emerge order.. it seems xmingw-win32api must be emerged before xmingw-gcc to get the g++ compiler working properly. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge dev-util/xmingw-gcc 2. emerge dev-util/xmingw-runtime 3. emerge dev-util/xmingw-w32api 2. emerge dev-util/xmingw-gcc 3. emerge dev-libs/wx-xmingw Actual Results: wx-xmingw compiles Gentoo Base System version 1.6.13 Portage 2.0.51.22-r3 (default-linux/amd64/2005.0, gcc-3.4.4, glibc-2.3.5-r2, 2.6.11.12 x86_64) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.11.12 x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200+ ccache version 2.3 [enabled] dev-lang/python: 2.3.5-r2 sys-apps/sandbox: 1.2.12 sys-devel/autoconf: 2.13, 2.59-r6 sys-devel/automake: 1.4_p6, 1.5, 1.6.3, 1.7.9-r1, 1.8.5-r3, 1.9.6-r1 sys-devel/binutils: 2.15.92.0.2-r1, 2.15.92.0.2-r10 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.18-r1 virtual/os-headers: 2.6.11-r2 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="amd64" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CBUILD="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" CFLAGS="-O2 -march=athlon64 -fweb -ftracer -pipe" CHOST="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/lib/X11/xkb /usr/share/config /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-O2 -march=athlon64 -fweb -ftracer -pipe" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoconfig ccache distlocks sandbox sfperms strict" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://distfiles.gentoo.org http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/gentoo" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="amd64 X aac adns aim alsa audiofile avi bash-completion berkdb bitmap-fonts bzip2 bzlib cdr chroot crypt curl dts dvd eds emacs emboss encode esd fam firefox flac font-server gd gdbm gif gnutls gpm gstreamer gtk gtk2 hpn icq imagemagick imap imlib imlib2 ipv6 ithreads jabber java javacomm javadoc javamail jce jdepend jikes jpeg junit kerberos krb4 libwww linuxthreads-tls log4j lzo lzw lzw-tiff mad md5sum mikmod mime mng mozsvg mp3 mpeg mplayer msn multislot ncurses network nntp nosendmail nowebdav nptl nptlonly nvidia offensive ogg oggvorbis opengl pam pcre pdflib perl png python quicktime readline real regexp rtc sdl sftplogging snmp ssl svg tcltk tcpd theora tiff truetype truetype-fonts type1-fonts unicode usb userlocales vorbis wmf xalan xerces xgetdefault xine xml xml2 xmms xpm xv xvid yahoo zlib userland_GNU kernel_linux elibc_glibc" Unset: ASFLAGS, CTARGET, LANG, LC_ALL, LDFLAGS, LINGUAS, MAKEOPTS
it works for me, please add ~amd64 keyword.
dev-libs/wx-xmingw needs to be punted, not updated
