C library providing an abstraction layer from the OS hard disk navigation API, allowing easy navigation by file manager-like applications. Supports multiple instances (i.e. you can contemporaneously "be" in two directories). The C code is very well tested but expect bugs in the autoconf/automake scripts. Requires dev-libs/vartypes.
