This is the second installation I've completed where an error is generated if kghostview is NOT installed and an attempt is made to preview the print, emerging kghostview solves the error and allows one to actually see the page prior to printing. Thanks jerry Jerry i should comment here. But this problem isn't related with printing herd i'm reassing to kde guys.
The code that tries to load kghostview for the preview is in kdelibs, and adding kghostview as a hard dependency of kdelibs is not desirable, considering also that it is not a real hard dependency (one is free to choose another program for the preview: kprinter -> system options -> preview). Moreover the error message is quite helpful, it says precisely that one can enable the preview just by installing kghostview.
