When trying to burn a CD with Nautilus, all seems to work well. It creates a disk image as expected and estimates the time to make this image properly. After making the disk image, it proceeds to burn the disk. The problem now it that instead of reporting the amount of time remaining to burn the disk it always says that it is "Preparing to write CD" and that there is "About 1193046 hours 28 minutes 15 seconds left". If I wait, the CD burns fine, I can just never tell how long it is going to take. The same problem also exits when burning DVDs. This is happening in both Gnome 2.10 and 2.12. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Burn a CD with Nautilus Actual Results: Nautilus improperly reports remaining time. Expected Results: Nautilus properly reports remaining time.
bug is already reported upstream in GNOME ( and previously from Ubuntu ): http://bugs.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=317607 Please try and supply them with the information they need.
