Description corey 2005-10-05 20:56:53 UTC
in multi-gnome-terminal, there exists no "copy" button, in the edit menu.
copying is done by highliting text with the mouse, and it automatically copies
to the buffer, then you can hit paste and it inserts into the term.

However, if you try to insert it to anything other then the term, like for
example, galeon (the web browser) then the text does not insert, but whatever
you had in the buffer before inserts.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.start multi-gnome-terminal
2.select some text
3.paste it back to the terminal to see it's "in the buffer"
4.try to paste it into galeon
Actual Results:
the "cut/copy data" that was last cut/copied before using multi-gnome-terminal
is pasted

Expected Results:
the data copied from multi-gnome-terminal should be pasted in there instead

It seems to be working today. Perhaps it needs a reboot, or a logout, or just
time before it starts working. Perhaps related the the CORBA server?? I'm
moving the priority down for now, since it might just be a temporary problem (as
opposed to intermitant).

please re-open if you can reliably reproduce it
