Description Paul Moore 2005-10-05 09:56:43 UTC
When trying to emerge lxr I get an error that they digest is incorrect. The
error is as follows:

!!! Digest verification Failed:
!!!    /usr/portage/www-apps/lxr/lxr-0.3.1.ebuild
!!! Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size

Re-syncing the portage tree has no effect.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge lxr
2.
3.

Actual Results:
The emerge failed, see the description above.

Expected Results:
The package should have been merged.

Works fine here:

19:06:05 (27.98 KB/s) - `/usr/portage/distfiles/lxr-0.3.1.tar.gz' saved
[29396/29396]
>>> lxr-0.3.1.tar.gz size ;-)
>>> lxr-0.3.1.tar.gz MD5 ;-)
>>> md5 files   ;-) lxr-0.3.1.ebuild
>>> md5 files   ;-) files/digest-lxr-0.3.1
>>> md5 src_uri ;-) lxr-0.3.1.tar.gz

Delete the file, emerge sync and try again. If it still does not work, then the
mirror you are using has some issues.
