I installed MySQL5 from portage with nagios-plugins 1.4

If I start check_mysql I get this message: "check_mysql: stack smashing attack
in function main()"

Reproducible: Always

mysql-5* is hardmasked. Also, you neglected to post emerge --info output; I
assume you have something like -fstack-protector-all in your C[XX]FLAGS, if so,
remove it  and recompile.
