Description Ioannis Barkas 2005-10-03 13:02:05 UTC
Hello I am Ioannis Barkas(John Barkas).

I had decided not to submit this error as I had already reported it to Jason
Huebel,jhuebel@gentoo.org and Jon Portnoy,avenj@gentoo.org and Gerald J.
Normandin Jr,gerrynjr@gentoo.org to get a reply ONLY from the last person(At
least he replied that I had to send the error to bugzilla).I really do not
understand why you consume code in writing the editors names in your webpages
since we have to submit webpage bugs through bugzilla and practically filling
the editors' mailboxes with e-mails like mine that could be considered spam as
they are not responsible to fix the webpage errors?

PLEASE ADD IN EVERY PAGE,FOR EXAMPLE: "For webpage errors and suggestions
please visit the gentoo bugzilla page"

After I heard the news about robbins I realized it was time to show him that he
was wrong with my acts...First act is submitting the above mentioned error(typo
error) for the fourth time in order to be finally fixed. In page:
http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/base/amd64/technotes/index.xml?part=1&chap=2

at sentence:
However, the "radeon" driver only includes 2d Accelleration. ,

The word Accelleration should be written Acceleration.
PLEASE SEARCH YOUR WHOLE SITE AND DOCUMENTATION FOR THE SAME ERROR AS IT MAY BE
REPEATED...

I found this bug after visiting http://www.knoppix.net/wiki/Bugs/3.9-2005-05-
27.I had submitted bug # 24).Next day I visited it again for additional
comments and someone else had reported bug # 25) about a suspicious typo error
in the knoppix boot menu help. That time it was clear and obvious to me that the
kernel would suffer from this error.I have found that 2.6.12.5 had the same
typo on 2 files and submitted a patch to fix it!.Here I note that the unknown
guy deserves some credits on that patch and this error.DESPITE THAT,I HAD THE
FINAL IDEA TO CHECK THE ERROR INSIDE THE WHOLE LINUX KERNEL AND MY HDD
CONTENTS.After an HDD search your page was one of them that contained the
error as I had saved it in the past at my HDD...

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS,EVERYONE CAN BE REPLACED AND IT IS OUR DUTY TO THROW
M$ OUT OF BUSINESS AND LEAVE robbins UNEMPLOYED!!!

huh? what's this all about?

All I get from this is that there is a spelling error that needs to be fixed.

As for the "KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS,EVERYONE CAN BE REPLACED AND IT IS OUR
DUTY TO THROW M$ OUT OF BUSINESS AND LEAVE robbins UNEMPLOYED!!!" I would ask
that you keep such opinionated comments out of bugs.
