liferea 1.0RC1 has been released: This release fixes a lot of usability issues. More importantly it features a complete locally installed user documentation available from the help menu. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
I know. But dbus>=0.30 will soon be moved out of package.mask, and liferea can use it. This means there are basically 3 options: 1. Make an ebuild that doesn't use dbus (like the one for 0.9.7a) and add support with a revision. 2. Make a complete ebuild (like 0.9.7b) and put it into package.mask too. 3. Show a little patience and wait for the unmasking of dbus, so a fully usable liferea 1.0RC1 can go into ~arch. Personally I'm in favor of #3, but if people really want me too, I'd also be willing to go for #2.
I can certainly be patient if you want to wait until dbus-0.3x is unmasked.
1.0RC2 is out.
