When the computer boots, it attempts to run /etc/init.d/net.eth0, which fails 
with the message "dhcpcd: missing required function interface_is_up".

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Run /etc/init.d/net.eth0

Actual Results:  
Output:
* Starting eth0
*       dhcpcd: missing required function interface_is_up

Expected Results:  
net.eth0 starts successfully.

One more thing I somehow forget mention before I submitted this bug is that my 
ethernet card uses the via-rhine chipset, compiled into the kernel.
