Whenever I try to load savegame neverwinter hangs while loading the area. Repeatedly in logs the following line appears: ioctl32(nwmain:19316): Unknown cmd fd(9) cmd(408c6445){00} arg(ffffc2c0) on /dev/dri/card0 I've found the same bug report already, but that one concerned nvidia drivers (and as far as I've read it was fixed in some driver release and it was some issue with permissions) but I'm experiencing this problem with ati-drivers (8.16.20). Running from root didn't help... I tried different video configurations in the game's options menu, but that didn't help either. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Run neverwinter nights 2.Try to load save Actual Results: The game hangs (killing the process helps). Expected Results: The game should load the savegame. I don't work for Bioware, so I don't get paid to fix bugs in their applications. I would suggest trying to find a fix in the Bioware forums or from Bioware support. If it is found to actually be an issue with either the ATI drivers or the Neverwinter Nights ebuild, then we can patch that, but I don't feel that I should be spending my time doing unpaid support for a commercial company. Basically, I'm willing to patch any issues that are deemed to be specific to Gentoo, but won't spend my time doing support for Bioware without compensation.
