A quick browse through net-misc lists multiple voip related packages.  It would
be helpful to see them all listed in one category.  Perhaps a net-voip/*
category would be appropriate for voip related ebuilds such as asterisk, ser,
and the variety of client software that is available.

I also agree. In bug# 112688 I also noted "or maybe a new category named net-phone?"

net-voip works as well (IMO).

As more clients tend to have both text and voice functionality, wouldn't it be better to put everything in net-im ?
