Hi folks, you are mentioned as authors/editors of files under gentoo/xml/htdocs/main/en which lacks <license/> tag so as the result they don't show up as licensed under CC-BY-SA. Would you mind if we license them under the same license as the rest of our documentation resources is? Affected people: drobbins klasikahl avenj cybersystem lcars www@gentoo.org - alias that I can ignore, I think klieber swift
yeah honey
19:10 <@SwifT> yeah honey [...] 19:11 <@SwifT> yes, of course 19:11 <@SwifT> as in "yes, all my Gentoo doc work is under the cc-by-sa"
13:37 <@klieber> jkt|: that's fine
16:05 <@lcars> jkt|: yeah that's fine
that's fine
I've read that drobbins transferred all his right to the stuff he wrote to the Foundation - so we will need trustees to vote on that. SwifT: can you take care of this? (you're still a trustee, right?)
I think there have been enough 'fine with me' messages to add <license/>
(In reply to comment #7) > I think there have been enough 'fine with me' messages to add <license/> > Agreed; let's see about getting this one in soon. jkt, if you're too busy atm, feel free to reassign to one of us. :)
(In reply to comment #8) > Agreed; let's see about getting this one in soon. jkt, if you're too busy atm, Still waiting for avenj and klasikahl who is retired. Any idea about how to solve that? What about drobbins? > feel free to reassign to one of us. :) Bleh, feel free to take it. Just for the record, we *don't* have an okay from all the copyright holders.
(In reply to comment #9) > Still waiting for avenj and klasikahl who is retired. Any idea about how to > solve that? What about drobbins? > I know both of them and see them on IRC at least once a week or so. I'll get them to give us permission the next time I see them.
Go for it
