sys-cluster/ccs does not compile, the error is related to a linking problem  
with libpthreads.  
  
To fix it, one has to do:  
  
# LDFLAGS="-lpthread" emerge sys-cluster/ccs   
  
as seen on this page:

I've no problem compiling it.
Please provide emerge info and the version of your ccs ebuild
