Patch will be attached. And projects.xml seems unmaintained/redundant, but it should be checked for references from generated pages... So, this patch will list everything from /main/en except projects.xml and articles.xml.

swift/neysx/fox2mike, can you review it?
And please also note that some of those files don't include proper
tag so they will look ugly in the generated documents. Here is a list, including obsoleted ones: jkt@slon ~/work/gentoo/cvs $ grep -L "
" gentoo/xml/htdocs/main/en/*.xml gentoo/xml/htdocs/main/en/graphics.xml gentoo/xml/htdocs/main/en/irc.xml gentoo/xml/htdocs/main/en/lists.xml gentoo/xml/htdocs/main/en/mirrors.xml gentoo/xml/htdocs/main/en/sponsors.xml gentoo/xml/htdocs/main/en/where.xml
Created attachment 69435 [details, diff] main-en-files.patch Adding
s to the abovementioned files, adding <license/> etc where apropriate. I haven't emailed original authors yet, though. Also added CVS $Header$ stuff.
Created attachment 69436 [details, diff] metadoc.xml.patch Updated to current 1.38 (CVS 1.109)
Comment on attachment 69435 [details, diff] main-en-files.patch <uri> is not allowed inside
...
(In reply to comment #4) > adding <license/> etc where > apropriate. I haven't emailed original authors yet, though. Has to be done even though I doubt anyone would object. I suppose the reason is to have them (and their translations) linked from doc indexes. Please do not include mirrors.xml, or least let's make it obvious it should not be translated. It's quite volatile and I'd rather not have translations lagging behind the official mirror list.

Created attachment 69492 [details, diff] metadoc.xml.patch mirrors.xml removed per neysx' request
Created attachment 69493 [details, diff] main-en-files.patch Fixed <mainpage id=...> in mirrors.xml
Patches look fine to me. As soon as Bug #107610 is clear, I think you can go ahead with the second patch.
metadoc.xml has been updated, now someone with enough privileges should do the rest (after #107610 is resolved, of course).
Removing "blocking" bug 107610 in order to close this (adding
is covered in bug 107903, license stuff in bug 107610, metadoc.xml has been fixed (tx to neysx for fixing up the fix)).
