Please post the output of emerge info. Also try rebuilding python then
rebuilding vim.
Comment 3 Gilbert Forkel 2005-09-27 12:13:35 UTC
allready recompiled python, ran revdep-rebuild and also cleaned up my portage
(emerge depclean and prune) but nothing helped.
Here is my emerge info vim:

Comment 4 Ciaran McCreesh 2005-11-02 12:20:07 UTC
According to Mr_Bones_, this happens with adonthell too, so it looks like it's a
Python issue rather than a Vim one.
Comment 5 Alastair Tse (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-03 12:08:26 UTC
can't reproduce, same with python 2.4.2 ?
Comment 6 Dan Ost 2006-05-30 08:51:31 UTC
Can this bug be closed?
Comment 7 Mike Kelly (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-09-12 22:14:07 UTC
Since no one has replied to this bug in months, I can't reproduce the bug, and the mentioned version of vim isn't even in the tree anymore, I'm closing this bug. Feel free to reopen it if you continue to have any trouble.
