Description Fritz Heinrichmeyer 2005-09-26 05:17:41 UTC
after installing mozilla-firefox-1.0.7, i recognize a timeout without computing
activity and after this timeout regular firefox behavior. New ist the following
warning:

/usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/mozilla-xremote-client: Error: Failed to send command:
No error string reported..
Browser doesn't understand command

and after this Gdk warnings as usual ....

(firefox-bin:6807): Gdk-WARNING **: gdk_property_get(): length value has wrapped
in calculation (did you pass G_MAXLONG?)

there must be a hidden debugging message verboseness contest between the gtk and
the kde camp.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.start firefox in a terminal window
2. wait and wait
3. then look at error messages and firefox is there

Actual Results:
normal firefox activity

Expected Results:
no timeout phase

Comment 1 Fritz Heinrichmeyer 2005-09-27 01:05:09 UTC
after update to mozilla-firefox-1.0.7, the timeout was gone, after reboot only

(firefox-bin:9043): Gdk-WARNING **: gdk_property_get(): length value has wrapped
in calculation (did you pass G_MAXLONG?)

is left. As dual boot windows user is should have known that reboot helps.
