Description Mark 2002-11-14 03:03:54 UTC
After an emerge I get this output:
 * Regenerating GNU info directory index...
 * Processed 68 info files: 1 errors; type emerge --verbose to view errors.

However, emerge --verbose doesn't yield valuable things to view this error.

I can confirm this one

 * Regenerating GNU info directory index...
 * Processed 68 info files: 1 errors; type emerge --verbose to view errors.

emerge --verbose shows me emerge --help ;)

Comment 2 Mark 2002-12-03 03:07:54 UTC
After Carpaski set the Severity to Trivial, I guessed it was a bad way of
putting the text 'run emerge --verbose to view errors'. What is ment is you
should run "emerge --verbose ebuild" to see what the error is, *not* just run
emerge --verbose.

I have the same problem once in a while. Can trivial error's not be logged to
syslog or logfile somewhere so I can still fix it, regrardless of it being trivial
and not effecting my systems.
