Description Roman Le Négrate 2005-09-25 11:24:58 UTC
I use Gnome desktop environment.
The .desktop file of the ebuild dev-util/eclipse-sdk-3.0.1-r2 is currently
placed in /usr/share/gnome/Development and 'Development' is the only folder of
/usr/share/gnome and the entry of Eclipse does not appear in the Application >
Development menu. I don't know where the .desktop should be placed instead but I
am sure it is currently not well placed.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. No ACCEPT_KEYWORDS in /etc/make.conf
2. emerge dev-util/eclipse-sdk

Actual Results:
Eclipse and other required ebuilds emerged and the .desktop file is
automatically placed in /usr/share/gnome/apps/Development

Expected Results:
The .desktop should be in the right place in order to make the entry of Eclipse
appear in the Gnome menu (Application > Development) of the tray bar.

eclipse-sdk-MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME-export.patch

Patch to export the MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME variable to enable the eclipse-sdk internal web browser when built with gecko-sdk.

The .desktop entry is in the right place nowadays.
