Steps of reproduction: 
1. $ uqm 
2. enter the "setup" menu 
3. change the video settings to a GL setting 
4. exit menu 
5. enter the "setup" menu again to find out it changed back to SDL 
 
Expected results: 
- a successful change to OpenGL graphics

That functionality isn't implemented yet.
