The bsdiff-4.3 ebuild claims bsdiff is under the BSD-Protection license.  4.2 
was under this license, but it seems 4.3 is under a much less restrictive, 
regular BSD-like license in stead (the author hasn't mentioned the change, but 
the old LICENSE file has been removed, and the new license is at the top of the 
source files).

I haven't used it much (yet), but yes, it seems to work fine so far =)
