As the ChangeLog of the ebuild already say, openoffice-bin-1.9.130 misses the language packs for spanish, as they have not been provided by upstream. The files you are pointing to are full install sets which are not usable for us
Created attachment 69384 [details] openoffice-bin brazilian portuguese
Does not work for brazilian portuguese too. But after a very dirty and ugly hack, just a bare mod from de original, i did it work like a champ. Sorry my lack of skills, it's worst than my english grammar. These are the languages that actually provide a localized binary package in http://oootranslation.services.openoffice.org/pub/OpenOffice.org/680m130/: de, es, fr, it, ja, ko, nl, pt-BR, sv, zh-CN, zh-TW, i hope it helps. Follows an attachment with the working ebuild in brazilian portuguese.
maybe we could create a new ebuild derived from the original, i don't think it's that hard.
@revertex: Please read what I said in comment #1, it's the same for pt_BR. And providing seperate packages for each and every translation (atm there are 50) would be quite insane. But, the good news is: 2.0rc1 is in and it has pt_BR-support again
I'm sorry, it's really sound stupid, Ooo development is going so fast that there is no need of a working ebuild for every release. As you said, good news, the new ebuild works flawlessly here, Ooo-2.0 rocks, M$Office will lose it's market faster like a lightning thanks to the language support, surely it will be a big step against piracy.
