Description Brian S. Stephan 2005-09-23 10:46:49 UTC
The juk ebuild for 3.5 alpha1/beta1 bombs out in a variety of fashions because
it seemingly hasn't been updated for various KDE 3.5 changes.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Emerge a KDE 3.5 juk
2. Watch it fail. :)

The juk ebuild for 3.5 alpha1/beta1 bombs out in a variety of fashions because
it seemingly hasn't been updated for the following changes:

1) The Gentoo configure-fix-kdemultimedia-juk.patch is unnecessary; it has
been patched upstream.
2) It should no longer expect akode to be in the tarball; KDE moved akode out
of kdemultimedia.
3) It should instead use media-libs/akode which is the separate version of the
library (and juk's configure script finds akode-config so it doesn't need a
configure option).

Attached is a patch which Works For Me With Akode that solves all three of the
above issues.

Replacement juk-3.5_beta1 ebuild

A replacement ebuild. No akode extraction, no patch that was applied upstream,
fixed akode dep.

The ebuild should work properly now, thanks.
